Summer dresses

Nap times were productive for sewing this week! These will be the girls Sunday dresses for awhile. I'm hoping to get some better pics of the girls in these dresses and a family pic next week (thanks to my sis).

I'm a novice sewer, and I just love looking at other people's work! Yours is just beautiful! :)

I'm sure you've been asked this before, but have you ever considered selling some of your pieces? I'm sure you'd make bucketloads of money!

One quick question -- you seem pretty adept at quilting, as well. I had a pattern for pieces to put together for a quilt (I'm sorry, I can't remember what they're called anymore), but you're supposed to take rounds of fabric, fold them over and gather them up in the back somehow, so you wind up with round pieces that you then sew together (does that make any sense at all? I want to say they're called "popcorn quilts", but I'm not sure).

Anyway... I have a LOT of scrap fabric and I was looking for something easy to hand sew while I was watching TV at night. Do you have any idea how to make these round pieces?

Thanks, in advance!

Cheryl

P.S. -- I hope you don't mind if I add your blog to my friend's list. I'd love to check in and see what new creations you've come up with! :)
